Embedding a Google Map

You can embed a google 'My Map' to your wiki using an iframe.

For any google map, you will need the map code from google which you can see by clicking on 'Link to this page' in the top right corner of the google map.

  • Follow the Instructions and use the tool at ongopongo to generate the code.
  • This generates the iframe code, which you simply need to paste into your editor.
Any map view (or map data) you can view on google maps can be set as the initial view of the map on your wiki.

You can tweak the settings more easily on the tool linked above, but when you submit a Google My Map on Ongopongo.com, it will automatically generate embed code below a submitted map:

It also displays the current point rating of the map.
